Dhyana Sansoucie

Dhyana Sansoucie has been a journalist for 10 years, the last five as a designer at the Cape Cod Times, an award winning and designer-friendly newspaper in Hyannis, Mass. She currently spends her time designing news and sports pages while also contributing to online news development. Previously, she spent several years as an associate editor at InfoWorld magazine, where she herded amped-up technogeeks in the community discussion area of the Web site, among other more mundane work such as copy editing and posting news to the home page online. Being an outlet and voice for readers and a referee among impassioned contributors while at InfoWorld left her forever changed, and has left her focused on serving the reader above all else. She began her career at the Santa Cruz Sentinel, where she worked the night desk doing editing and page design for three years among a merry collection of aging long-boarders and post-partying editors. She left in 1998 seeking online experience. Since then she's been musing about where the Web will lead newspapers and how newspaper design needs a big kick in the pants. She continues to quietly push behind the scenes for change at her daily newspaper. She now will push publicly here.

Beth Dean

Beth was born in the good old rubber city, where she cultivated a love for design and blimps, and an equal detestation for the smell of industry. She started her first business when she was 10, and later built her first website- a music fanzine in 1994. Somewhere along the way she graduated from Columbus College of Art & Design with a BFA in illustration, and an emphasis in interactive design. She now resides in Lakewood, (Cleveland for all you non-Ohioans) Ohio and works in house doing web design for a nutraceutical company, as well as her own studio, Resist Media.

Vadim Litvak

Vadim Litvak walks the fine line of corporate creative on a daily basis. Sometimes, that concrete and wood-paneling calls to him, siren-like, until he finds himself smilingly sipping the lotus juice of fresh-brewed coffee by the flickering light of a CRT monitor (yes, he's requested an upgrade); sometimes he stuffs his ears with headphones and punk rock, letting the hours wash over him until Happy Hour, but he's always there to make sure the postcards get done, the websites get updated, the projectors are plugged in, and the iPods have downloaded the right remix of whatever's hot at the moment. Vadim has spent time freelancing, working in an agency, and designing for big corporate for the past 10 years. He makes his home in San Francisco and buys his lunch in Burlingame.
