A 20-year graphic design, illustration, and publishing veteran, Pariah S. Burke is the former InDesign, InCopy, and Illustrator Technical Lead to Adobe’s technical support team. He is an author with books written for professional Illustrator, InDesign, and InCopy users, a columnist, educator, consultant, entrepreneur, publishing workflow expert, and print and Web graphic designer. As an indepedent consultant and trainer he travels around the world teaching, consulting on, and speaking about InDesign, InCopy, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, Creative Suite, and all the mission-critical tools of the modern, efficient creative and publishing workflow.

In addition to his books, numerous magazine articles, speaking engagements, and consulting, Pariah is perhaps best known as the outspoken publisher and chief war correspondent for Quark VS InDesign.com. In 2005 he followed the success of Quark VS InDesign.com by founding Designorati, a collaborative news and information organization dedicated to covering the broad and niche areas of professional visual creativity.

He lives in Portland, Oregon where he is constantly seeking new ways to empower creative professionals.
