Vitaly Friedman’s 20 Best License-Free Quality Fonts

German designer compiles list of 20 great free fonts, includes download links

Vitaly Friedman is a web designer based in Sarrbrücken, Germany. In his own travels about the net he’s found many free font resources, and has compiled his own 20 best free quality presentation-grade fonts here.

It is a diverse list with a range of beautiful looks from classic to modern, with an experimental look or two thrown in for good measure, each example with links direct to the individual download sites. Be advised, though, that even though all fonts are free to acquire each still has license specifications that control thier use, and it’s the user’s responsbility to know the terms.

He also provides links in the blog posting to other free font resources which look very much worth checking out.
