Thomas Bros. Maps announces error in 2006 map books, makes updates quickly available via web

Thomas Bros. Maps, a division of Rand McNally, recently announced a significant error in thier 2006 maps for Corona, California.

In our 2006 update of four Thomas Guide® titles — Riverside County, San Bernardino & Riverside Counties, Riverside & Orange Counties, and Riverside & San Diego Counties — we mistakenly included unincorporated land in Corona city boundaries.

The company has answered the error with two notable moves: firstly, announcing the error unmistakably and prominently on thier web page and moving to print a corrected version promptly and, secondly, by making the ten corrected pages available for download as PDFs on the same page, so that book users will not have to wait for the updated books to be released.
