You have to eat anyway–why not benefit those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita?
On October 5, 2005, restaurants across the country will band together in a “Dine for America” day, a national fundraising effort for the American Red Cross to help the survivors, victims, their families and other arising needs from the Hurricane Katrina and Rita disasters. Participating restaurants across the country will be donating in various ways to hurricane relief, some restaurants even donating 100% of their profits for the day to relief efforts.
For information on Dine For America, visit Dine for America. Here you can find find participating restaurants in your area and see what they will be donating, or sign up your restaurant to contribute.
You’re hungry, you can help. If you were going to dine out anyway, check the web site for participating restaurants. If you weren’t planning on dining out, today’s a good day to do so.
