Here's my hangup. Sounds great for a 700sqft apartment or bedroom, and only then if your seating is about 8ft from the iMac. Who wants to either a) sit in a computer chair and watch a DVD a few feet back or b) sit on a couch and watch a DVD from across the room on a 20" screen?

For my primary means, I sure as hell don't, and I can't really grasp anyone in the "Apple Mindset" of gadgetry being okay with that either... unless you're a college student or a starving artist in a meager/small apartment or bedroom.

I just don't get the excitement. I've had the ability to watch DVDs, play MP3s, and view photos on my PC for 4 years now. I can tell you that the reason I *don't* do it has nothing to do with the lack of a remote control.

Someone, please, enlighten me.
