Noted design agency debuts new look website, invites comments

Segura, Inc. took its new website design live today, announcing it with an email to it’s news mailing list:

After months of effort, Segura Inc, the design firm responsible for TheT26 Digital Type Foundry, 5inch and now Cartype has a new presence online. While a site is truly never done, we hope you enjoy what is up for now.

The website is an interesting study in structure and contrasts, befitting its varied offerings (T.26 for type, 5inch for CDs and innovative CD cases, and Cartype for auto-centric type, images and information as well as Segura’s own design activity). The banner image at the head is a raucuous, riotous collage of type and images supported by green and gray grids which, while dialled-back, support the layout effectively. A frame embedded within the lower right of the page displays the company’s recent achievements and news, well supported by great pictures for illustration.
