The Original Photoshop Icon

photoshop icons

From top to bottom we have the application icon, document icon, preferences icon and plug-in icon. The use of the film roll and the one-hour photo booth reveal the original thinking of Photoshop (previously known as ImagePro, and known before that as simply Display) as a computerized version of darkroom and film processing techniques.
