Adobe InDesign Server CS2 Debuts Today

Quark VS InDesign .com is first with news of today’s debut at IfraExpo of Adobe InDesign Server CS2, a new headless server-enabled version of InDesign CS2. According to the article, InDesign Server CS2 enables an unprecedented level of automation of high-end editorial workflows, collateral creation, data-driven publishing, and template-based web publishing.

Several companies, including Cacidi, the Peter Schmidt Group, Managing Editor Inc. (MEI), Sansui Software, SoftCare Software-Service GmbH, XMPie Inc., Wave2 Media Solutions Limited, and WoodWing Software already have InDesign Server-based solutions in or nearing deployment. Another 120 partners are standing are developing publishing solutions based on InDesign Server CS2 for 2006-2007 availability.
