Browsing around the web to find the next freeware download for the bi-weekly Friware Friday, I came across a little but very useful application called Font Frenzie. It’s a nice font management application that, while it doesn’t solve all font management problems a designer might come across, it will bring order to the fonts that are madly running around your computer, threatening system crashes, helding hostage applications, “If you only try to use me, I swear I corrupt!”

FontFrenzyâ„¢ tames the frenzy of fonts that can clutter and slow down Windows. The DeFrenzy function removes and stores all fonts except those that were present when Windows was first installed. In short, it cleans up your font folder so that Windows boots quicker and runs smoother.

The special FrenzySnap function enables you to establish “restore points” and re-install the fonts that were in your system on a specific date. FontFrenzyâ„¢ is also a great general font manager.
