QuarkXPress 7 Beta 2 Now Available

Quark launched the second phase of its public beta program

Quark released the first beta of their layout program at last [1] Macworld’s conferene. The beta was to expier by the end of March. You now have the possibility to download QuarkXPress 7 beta 2, which will run until May 2. Quark rightly makes a few points which should be taken into consideration when using QuarkXPress 7 beta 2 :

QuarkXPress 7 public beta software is a pre-release version.

The QuarkXPress 7 Public Beta will be functional through May 2, 2006

Not all of the features in QuarkXPress 7 are implemented in this beta release. Users may experience unexpected results when using certain features.

QuarkXPress 7 public beta software is not intended for use in a production environment.

Technical support is not available for QuarkXPress 7 public beta 2 software.

Please note that if you have used the QuarkXPres 7 beta 1, you might have problems installing the beta 2. Quark addresses these issues [2] here.
