Freeware Friday: Barry’s Clip-Art Server

Do ya need some? Barry has all you’ll want.

In [1] this article a couple of weeks back I philosophied on the use of clip-art in logo design. In doing so, I exhibited a few samples from a site called Barry’s Clip-Art Server.
Barrys’ Clip-Art Servier ([2] http://www.barrysclipart.com) is just what it says it is–your connection to far too many clip-art images to count. Brimming with freely-downloadable .jpg clip-art, they come in two sizes and are free for your use in a clip-art mode.
Barry’s home page also has links to various other sources for clip art and stock images.
As designers we don’t want to depend on clip-art, but, just like any other resource, there are times when thier use is called for. Sites like Barry’s guarantee you won’t have to break the bank just to get a few tossaway pictures; it’s all good.
