A scripting XTension for those sharing QuarkXPress files on a network
Many QuarkXPress users, especially printers as they are most likely to move files through a network, will be familiar with this little but annoying problem. As the developers over at Emerasoft say:
Due to a bug, AppleScripters know that it’s not possible to retrieve the file path of a document (or project) if it has been saved on a shared directory (a directory on a network file server); if you try to get it from an AppleScript, the temporary path (a local path) of the document or the project is returned by QuarkXPress™.
LPS Scripting Utility solves this. Download it and see.
