Popular resource powered by MyFonts.com helps identify mystery fonts

Sometimes idenitifying a font for use in a design is necessary, and almost impossible.
MyFonts.com comes to the rescue with a nimble, web-based utility. Called “What The Font?”, it allows any designer to identify a font with nothing more than an uploaded scanned image, or a URL to the image.
Surfing to http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ presents the user with a very simple interface. Once uploaded, the scanned image is analyzed and the user is quickly presented with a verification form. Once that is clicked past, if the image is acceptable, a range of likely fonts is produced, complete with links to purchase.
If the scanned image isn’t usable, live help is available in the What The Font? forums.
Many designers know about WTF?, many don’t. Do yourself a favor and bookmark it.
