Today the LinoType Library released its monthly LinoLetter electronic newsletter. Among the typographic treats:

  • Xmasâ„¢Com holiday-themed symbol fonts, a set of non-denominational holiday symbols from Wiesbaden, Germany’s Fünfwerken studio
  • The Kids Creative Pack, a collection of five faces full of fun and whimsy
  • The new Bodebeckâ„¢ family, described as transitional letterforms in a contemporary style
  • Over 205 new Asian fonts–Chinese, Japanes, Korean–from the DynaComware library.

Worth special notice is the return of the LinoType Matrix periodical. This originally ran as a quarterly newssheet from1930 to 1960, carrying information on new LinoType fonts and was a news forum on the printing trade. After a 50 year hiatus it’s back, now as a magazine, and LinoType plans to use it in much the same way.
