Via email to its news subscribers, typefounder Archive Type has announced the debut of five new fonts, bringing its total range to 35. the Archive Black Title Text, Archive Blackcap, Archive German Text, Archive Steeler and Archive Tinted.

All Archive fonts are available in OTF, Type 1, and TrueType formats for both Mac and Windows at the single-license cost of $20 each, with pricing available also for larger seat groupings. Archive’s mission is antique typefaces. In Archive’s own words:

Archive Type specializes in antique typefaces found in old prints, books, and samples. The fonts, with the imperfections all perfectly preserved, bring all the script, sans-serif, and poster styles from a 19th century print shop to the digital age.
