Cloister Initial D

Cloister Initials was originally designed by Frederic Goudy and set loose in the wild by ATF in 1919. Since 1993, FontHaus have been selling it in digital form but in EPS, not font, format.

All that has just changed. FontHaus have just announced that Cloister Initials is, for the first time, available in font format, in Type 1 for Win and Mac, Win TT, and OpenType formats. Produced by GroupType, this digital revival, reports FontHaus on thier web page for the font, is referenced from the original 144-point brass matrices acquired when ATF went out of business in 1993.

Font Haus now has them on offer: $29.00 for Win/Mac Type 1 and WinTT, and $35.00 for OT.
