Web design, in other words, is so much more than yet another twenty-something writing about how web design is so much more than [ insert whatever here ]. You appear to be someone trying to breakout of the common aura that is created by people who spend too much time dabbling in Adobe Photoshop and Cascading Style Sheets, and yet, you fail miserably. Is web design overrated? Of course it is. To not be would mean that many more individuals would get something out of all this than another lousy article which wastes time. Write about something useful for crying out loud and stop perpetuating the ever-present robotic web design mentality that is out there. We've all ascended to a level of consciousness where we can determine if web design != web development, etc. It's old news.
