The good news is I have a hole drilled in my desk top for my cords too but I think there's a Lego stuck in there somewhere. As for number 4: my keyboard now stores under the work surface, hidden. And I cut two 2-inch holes at the back of the desktop, and funnel ALL cords (phone, external drive, monitor, dsl modem, etc.) through them–again, hidden and out of the way. The only things on the desktop are the necessities. Excellent, and all relate to my home office set-up. As for number 4: my keyboard now stores under the work surface, hidden.
