Freeware Friday: Your Wordpress Blog on a Canvas

Regular Feature: Freeware Friday

Customize your themes simply with a drag and drop

Not long ago I discovered a very well thought out Wordpress theme, called [1] Kiwi. It’s a fabulous theme by Yasser Dahab, Yas to friends, which delivers all the information the reader needs in logical fashion right in the home page, and it has a nice professional look and feel.

No One’s Listening’s developers however, didn’t just stop with a theme, they also created a Wordpress plugin, which adds functionality to the admin area, allowing people to customize themes by adding and deleting modules, that is with a simple drag and drop. That plug-in is called [2] Canvas. It’s absolutely free and this makes it even more interesting. Canvas is a great idea, but it is still in development, therefore you can still find bugs which Yas and Karsten, the other develoèer who’s working on Canvas, definitely want to know about.

Right now Canvas only works with Kiwi, but more themes will be soon supported. If you want to give it a try, feel free to [3] download it here.
