A friendly free-for-all; what do you think the new face of Adobe/Macromedia would look like? What do you think it COULD look like?
Just as everyone who uses graphics software knows, with the Adobe/Macromedia merger finally final, the face of digital design is changing. Whether for the better or the worse, things are going to start looking a bit different around here; this town just wasn’t big enough for the two of ‘em.
So, we around here got to thinking; what is going to be the new look of our favorite apps? Is Adobe going to rename Flash and Dreamweaver? If so, what? Boxes, splash screens – could we be seeing new names and graphic treatments?
Macrobe? Acromedia? The mind boggles at the possible prospects.
We want to know what you, the readers think. Get out your favorite tools - Freehand, Photoshop – and ask yourself what the new face of Adobe might look like. Serious, whimsical, whatever, make an image of it (TIFF, or JPG) and send it along to us here at Designorati by the 31st of December, and during the first part of January 2006 we’ll post a gallery of the best/funniest/most interesting.
No actual prizes here, but the best-in-show will have the inestimable privilege of the bragging right of having their art featured on Designorati for all the world to see, and we’ll have a bit of fun at the same time.
